Financial Planning & Analysis Co-op Student

Our Finance team has over 200 finance professionals supporting our diverse group of Companies. We have a long-standing Student Work Term Program focused on providing students with hands on experience in a progressive future focused finance team. We are a proud CPA (Chartered Professional Account) Training Program office.

The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Student position provides an opportunity to gain practical experience in corporate finance, business analysis, and strategic decision-making while working alongside experienced finance professionals. Students will gain exposure to financial planning processes, performance reporting, forecasting, and data-driven insights that support business operations across a large and diversified organization.

  • Assist with benchmarking, reporting, and financial analysis to support decision-making

  • Participate in the review and analysis of quarterly financial reporting packages

  • Contribute to the preparation of internal and external presentation materials and business insights

  • Utilize tools such as TM1, Tableau, CapIQ, and Bloomberg to enhance reporting, automate workflows, and improve data accessibility

  • Support special projects and ad hoc analysis with a focus on delivering meaningful financial insights

  • University Business, Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related student in good academic standing

  • Available for the Winter 2027 Work Term

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Curious, proactive, and eager to learn

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with data

  • Interest in pursuing a career in Finance, Accounting, Business Analysis, FP&A, or a related field
