The bigger picture:
We’re looking for a detailed-oriented, relationship-focused, and strategic professional to come on board as our Wealth Planner. In this role, you'll work closely with advisors and clients to develop comprehensive financial plans that bring long-term goals to life through clear, actionable strategies. By providing deep planning expertise and uncovering opportunities to strengthen wealth solutions, you'll help clients build confidence in their financial future while supporting the continued growth and success of Thrive Wealth.
How you’ll spend your time:
- Preparing, customizing, and delivering comprehensive financial plans that help clients achieve their goals.
- Conducting detailed financial analyses to identify opportunities related to investments, retirement planning, insurance, estate planning, and overall wealth management.
- Collaborating with the advice and sales teams to develop customized planning strategies that enhance client outcomes.
- Participating in client conversations, as appropriate, to explain planning recommendations and support meaningful advice discussions.
- Acting as a financial planning resource for the advisory team by sharing expertise, best practices, and guidance on planning tools and methodologies.
- Identifying opportunities for asset consolidation, insurance solutions, and additional planning needs, and partnering with advisors to bring those opportunities to life.
- Supporting consistency and quality across Thrive Wealth by ensuring financial plans are accurate, well-documented, and aligned with planning standards.

The experience you bring:
- Post-secondary education in business, finance, or related discipline
- 3+ years of experience in financial planning within a wealth management or financial services environment, with demonstrated experience preparing and delivering comprehensive financial plans
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation is required
- Experience in estate planning, tax planning, or trust services is an asset
- Working knowledge of investment, insurance, and retirement planning concepts
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements applicable to financial planning and advice support
Salary range:
$72,590 - $90,740 with 12% Short Term Incentive Target
