Job Summary
Under minimal supervision, the Lead Quality Control Incoming Inspector performs material receipt inspection of company procured and customer issued materials, validating materials against applicable codes and requirements orders. The Lead Quality Control Incoming Inspector maintains records on inventory and performs monthly audits, demonstrating excellent organization and communication skills. This position will provide leadership and mentorship within the department.
Responsibilities
- Perform receiving and inspection of all orders, organizing into project laydown areas and generate materials reports for CMs/PMs/Customers 20%
- Maintain records on inventory of material by item, stock number, lot number, quantity, location and condition code. Review awarded contract delivery orders involving shipments to ensure material being requested is on hand. 20%
- Perform monthly audits/surveillance, capturing surveillance reports on material storage, conditions, shelf-life expiry, and protective environment maintenance at various locations. 20%
- Act as a SPOC for all maintenance of company assets of equipment, including updating all licensing and maintaining applicable log books, calibration of tooling, including but not limited to forklifts, fleet vehicles 20%
- Act as a SPOC for logistics of material handling, including the coordination of shipments, as required. 10%
- Provides mentorship, training and support for Quality Control Incoming personnel; support the oversight of work flow and workforce planning so that other individuals can carry out their objectives and deliver services that meet the requirements defined in customer contracts. 10%

- Strong problem-solving skills
- Solid knowledge of PC-based applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook. Sage, SAP.
- Knowledge and experience with CSA N299 and ISO 9001 standards is an asset
Minimum Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or equivalent with 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area is the minimum requirement Required
- Post-Secondary Education in logistics Preferred
- 3+ years of experience in the field Required
