DRIMIS Data Coordinator

Position Summary

Thales is seeking an experienced detailed oriented DRMIS Data Coordinator to join our team. The Coordinator is responsible for managing, organizing and maintaining multiple data systems for the AJISS project, as well as safeguarding data accuracy and compliance across the program. This position will provide data coordination support activities for maintaining the Royal Canadian Navy’s DRMIS data Management system, and Thales’ internal maintenance data information tools. The role is accountable for the day-to-day administration, optimization, and integrity of maintenance data, and the ideal candidate should possess strong analytical, communication and attention to detail skills.

Regulatory Compliance Requirement

This position requires direct or indirect access to hardware, software or technical information controlled under the Canadian Export Control List and/or the US the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). All applicants must be eligible or able to obtain authorization for such access.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Manage and maintain data entry processes, ensuring data integrity and accuracy
  • Collect, organize, transcribe and input data into data repositories (SFTP, SharePoint, SAP, IBM Maximo and DRMIS)
  • Monitor data quality and perform data audits to identify gaps and correct errors
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures for effective data management
  • Generate reports and metrics/KPI’s to support value added decision making
  • Ensure compliance with data security regulations and company policies
  • Collect, catalog and distribute data to internal and external customers
  • Assist other teams in the development and maintenance of data guidelines
  • Analyze and transcribe Engineering, Maintenance and Supply Support data
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on data related activities
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager

Minimum Requirements

  • 3 years’ experience in data coordination, data management, or data governance
  • Diploma in Data Management, Information Systems, Business Administration or a related field
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to balance multiple priorities
  • Basic understanding of maintenance and service delivery activities considered an asset
  • Possess strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work accurately and with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience working within an Engineering or Defense Environment
  • Proficient at analyzing large amounts of data from multiple sources

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP or DRMIS
  • Experience in the Marine/Naval Industry
  • Experience with IBM Maximo

The reference Total Target Compensation (TTC) market range for this position, inclusive of annual base salary and the variable compensation target, is between Total Target Cash (TTC) $60,000 - $75,000 -$85,000 CAD Annual.

This reflects how companies in a similar industry and geographic region generally pay for similar jobs. This range helps the Company make pay decisions as one data point among many. Where a position falls within this range is also dependent on other factors including – but not limited to – the employee’s career path history, competencies, skills and performance, as well as the company’s annual salary budget, the customer’s program requirements, and the company’s internal equity.
