Développeur Tests Automatisés

Défi stimulant dans le cadre du programme Contact Billing qui vise le déploiement d’un nouveau système de perception à travers toutes les compagnies de notre client.

Nous sommes à la recherche d’un développeur de tests automatisés pour nous aider dans la mise en place d’un nouveau framework de tests utilisant Sélénium et TestNG dans l’écosystème Guidewire BillingCentre.

Le poste est pour l’équipe de développement TI Billing. Travail en mode hybride avec présence obligatoire au bureau 2 jours/semaine. Base de 35h/semaine.

Emplacement : bureau de Montréal ou Québec.

Ce que vous ferez :

• Définir des plans de tests, scenarios et scripts.

• Développer et exécuter des tests automatisés.

• Aider l’équipe avec la mise en place du nouveau framework de tests automatisés en :

• Conseillant sur l’utilisation de Sélénium.

• Ajouter des fonctionnalités au framework.

• Conseillant sur les meilleures pratiques de l’industrie.

• Analyser et gérer des problèmes.

• Contribuer à l’évolution de nos pratiques de tests.

• Estimer les efforts de réalisation des tests.

• Travailler en collaboration avec les QA manuels, développeurs et analystes d’affaires.

• Établir une relation solide avec les équipes de développement et de produits pour comprendre notre produit et toutes ses subtilités.

• Combler les lacunes dans la couverture des tests et ajouter de nouveaux scénarios.

Requis :

• Baccalauréat en informatique ou toute autre combinaison d'expérience et de formation connexe jugée pertinente.

• Minimum de 5 années d'expérience avec Sélénium et TestNG.

• Minimum de 10 années d’expérience en assurance qualité et automatisation des tests.

• Minimum de 5 ans d’expérience et bonne connaissance des versions modernes de Java (Java 17+) et Spring.

• Bilinguisme anglais/français.

Atouts :

• Expérience avec Cucumber, JMeter et/ou Git.

• Connaissance de JIRA et Confluence.

• Certification ISTQB®

• Connaissance du langage Gosu

• Expérience dans l'intégration de tests automatisés dans un pipeline CI / CD.

• Expérience du développement en mode Agile.

• Connaissance du monde de l’assurance de dommages.

• Connaissance du domaine de la facturation/perception.

• Expérience avec Guidewire.

Automated Test Developer

Position Overview

Exciting opportunity as part of the Contact Billing Program, which aims to deploy a new billing and collections system across all of our client's business units.

We are seeking a Automation Test Developer to help implement a new test automation framework using Selenium and TestNG within the Guidewire BillingCenter ecosystem.

This position is part of the Billing IT Development Team. The role follows a hybrid work model with a mandatory presence in the office 2 days per week, based on a 35-hour work week.

Location: Montreal or Quebec City office.

What You Will Do

• Define test plans, test scenarios, and test scripts.
• Develop and execute automated tests.
• Support the team in implementing the new automated testing framework by:
  • Providing guidance on Selenium usage.
  • Adding new features and capabilities to the framework.
  • Advising on industry best practices.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and manage issues.
• Contribute to the evolution and improvement of testing practices.
• Estimate testing effort and delivery timelines.
• Collaborate closely with manual QA analysts, developers, and business analysts.
• Build strong relationships with development and product teams to gain a deep understanding of the product and its complexities.
• Identify gaps in test coverage and create additional test scenarios.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Selenium and TestNG.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Test Automation.
• Minimum 5 years of experience and strong knowledge of modern versions of Java (Java 17+) and Spring Framework.
• Bilingualism in English and French.

Preferred Qualifications (Assets)

• Experience with Cucumber, JMeter, and/or Git.
• Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.
• ISTQB® Certification.
• Knowledge of the Gosu programming language.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Knowledge of the Property & Casualty Insurance industry.
• Knowledge of Billing and Collections processes.
• Experience with Guidewire products and platforms.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Montreal, QC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $85.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
