Nova / The Smile Factory is seeking two experienced and motivated Dental Assistants to join our growing team. Located under one roof, Nova Dental Implant Centre and The Smile Factory bring together advanced dental implant and restorative care with comprehensive general dentistry. Our team is passionate about delivering exceptional patient experiences and providing high-quality clinical care in a supportive, modern environment.
The Role
We are looking for two full-time Dental Assistants who are passionate about patient care and enjoy working as part of a fast-paced, supportive team.
You will work closely with our dentists and clinical team, assisting across a range of general, restorative and advanced dental procedures.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Chairside assisting across general, restorative and surgical procedures
- Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring surgeries are ready for patients
- Supporting clinicians to deliver a smooth and efficient patient experience
- Maintaining high standards of infection control and sterilisation
- Preparing instruments, equipment and materials for procedures
- Supporting patients throughout their appointment and helping them feel comfortable and at ease
- Assisting with stock management and maintaining clinical supplies
- Working collaboratively with the wider clinical and administration team
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant
- A Certificate III in Dental Assisting, or relevant experience
- Strong chairside assisting skills
- Excellent infection control and sterilisation knowledge
- A genuine passion for patient care
- The ability to work efficiently in a busy clinical environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work well as part of a team
Experience assisting with implants, surgical procedures or complex restorative dentistry will be highly regarded.
