We are looking for you,Manager, Circular & Renewable Transformation to our Renewable & Circular Transformation Team under Polymers & Chemicals (OP) in Espoo, Finland or Düsseldorf, Germany.

You will focus on developing and maintaining market understanding of polymers and chemicals globally, creating market assessments and competition analysis.

In this job you will work closely with Public Affairs, Technology Benchmarking, Market Intelligence and all commercial roles at Polymers & Chemicals, along with policy makers, external consultants and brand owners.

  • Conduct market assessments, write market reports, generate competition analysis, provide pricing support
  • Shape regulatory positioning for end markets and define market segmentation for sales prioritization
  • Support technical polymers and chemicals advocacy positioning (Mass Balance etc., shift from voluntary to mandated market conditions) and specifies technical advocacy positioning needed to navigate the shift from voluntary to mandated market conditions
  • Has independence to translate complex technical topics into targeted regulatory market positioning content and tools to equip the public affairs and advocacy teams.

Keys to success in this role

  • M.Sc. degree in Market Development, Chemistry/Chemical Engineering, Strategy or Business Administration

  • 5+ years of experience in the field of market assessment, regulatory positioning, market development, business development

  • Proven expertise in Chemical Industry, Public Affairs, Energy Sector or Regulatory Environment

  • Excellent English language skills

  • Responsible attitude and safety-oriented mindset

  • Exceptional ability to collaborate with internal and external parties and capacity to influence.
