TotalEnergies is looking for a Senior Reservoir Engineer.

By joining the Integrated Studies - Reservoir Engineering (IS/RE) team, you’ll immerse yourself in the dynamic world of project development, collaborating with diverse and innovative teams to address technical challenges facing the Company and deliver fit-for-purpose, innovative solutions. Your curiosity, technical expertise, and collaborative spirit will accelerate your growth in reservoir engineering while extending your competencies across transverse disciplines such as 2G, surface engineering, and drilling.

Activities

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering key objectives and contributing to the success of the team byperforming the following duties:

• Respect and promote the HSE group behaviors, in its area of activity and responsibility,
• Validate reservoir data (static but mainly dynamic) allowing the evaluation of discoveries & fields,
• Coordinate specialty studies required for the building of reservoir simulations,
• Perform & guarantee the dynamic data synthesis & required upscaling steps,
• Perform reservoir simulations in partnership with geophysicists & geologists of the project by optimizing the fluid
• flow modeling with regards to heterogeneities,
• Implement advanced simulation methodologies (Integrated Asset modelling, EnHM,…) when necessary,
• Rank static & dynamic uncertainties and perform necessary uncertainty studies,
• Guarantee reserves evaluation, production forecasts and associated uncertainties for each development scenario,
• Contribute to further appraisal programs and/or development scenario conception with associated studies and/or monitoring programs,
• Present 2G&R studies result at the various QR GIS and RevGIS,
• Develop your level of expertise and participate to the development of the skills of the team in reservoir simulation,
• Coach more junior staff in all fields of the discipline.

Candidate Profile

• You master Reservoir Engineering activities and want to pursue your development in this discipline and beyond.
• You have a Master’s or equivalent level with a specialization in O&G and/or reservoir engineering, or a PhD in reservoir engineering.
• You have 10 to 15 years of experience in reservoir engineering, with recognized exposure to reservoir simulation. Proven autonomy in this domain is essential.
• You are fully autonomous in reservoir engineering with prior exposure to other disciplines.
• You have operational experience in affiliate or in 2G&R studies.
• Dynamism, pragmatism, responsiveness, curiosity, interpersonal effectiveness, effective communication & persuasion, capability to influence Mentoring / technical coach of juniors are essential to succeed in this position.
• Strong team spirit is expected.
