Our 18-month Graduate Programme is designed to unleash your potential through three dynamic rotations, including an international assignment. You’ll gain hands-on experience, build a global network, and lay the foundation for a thriving career in wealth management.

Your team

As part of the Global Products & Solutions unit you will join the team Hong Kong, PB Sales – FX & PM, which plays a key role to provide advisory and execution services to our internal and external clients, with good command of financial analytics skills especially in FX. Advise Relationship Managers and Investment Advisors on appropriate investment solutions and products with a focus on FX & PM solutions. You will also have the opportunity to work directly with some of Julius Baer’s most active FX and PM trading clients, providing a tailormade service for them.

YOUR CHALLENGE

During the programme, you will:

• Assisting FX Desk with trade processing, client order flow coordination, market analysis, and preparation of activity reports
• Identify market opportunities and implement new investment ideas for our internal and external client base
• Price and execute OTC and Structured products on FX and precious metals
• Collect and filter relevant market news and distribute it in a client friendly way
• Participation in desk meetings and calls to promote OTC and Structured Products
• Support the creation of regular marketing materials for investment ideas
• Handle daily business: booking of trades, after-sales service, and lifecycle management
• Build relationships with Relationships Managers and Investment Advisors, to get to know their clients’ FX & PM needs and find ways to provide solutions / drive activity

YOUR PROFILE

• Master's degree from a university or university of applied sciences with above-average grades in mainly Finance or Economics (graduation max. 12 months ago)
• Initial practical experience in banking, brokage house, or investment funds and with strong communication, coordination and financial analytical skills and able to work under extreme pressure to meet deadline
• Passion for wealth management and a desire to create value beyond wealth
• A global mindset, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong appetite for learning
• Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin, with additional languages being a plus
• Eligibility to work in the country where you apply for the position
