Tenure-track Faculty Positionsin Operations Management

The Department of Information Systems, Business Statistics, and Operations Management (ISOM) at the School of Business and Management, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), is seeking applicants for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level in Operations Management, expected to begin in July 2027.

The Operations Management group within the department offers undergraduate, MSc, and PhD programs, as well as courses for the school’s MBA, EMBA, DBA, and Executive Education programs. The group plays a major role in the HKUST Li & Fung Supply Chain Institute. The department's website is http://www.bm.ust.hk/~isom.

Qualifications

Candidates should hold a PhD degree (or be near completion) in Operations Management or closely related disciplines and have a strong record (or demonstrate strong competence for the Assistant Professor rank) in both research and teaching.
