Product Photographer
- Miss Amara
- Hong Kong, Hong Kong
- HKD 240,000 – HKD 360,000
If you're a skilled product photographer who thrives on precision, consistency, and delivering high volumes of technically flawless studio shots, this could be the role for you.
At Miss Amara, our customers can't touch or feel a rug before they buy it, so accurate, high-quality product photography is what helps them understand texture, colour, and scale, and buy with confidence. In this role, you'll be responsible for producing consistent, detailed studio photography across our full product range, supported by AI-powered tools that speed up repetitive post-production work.
You'll join a collaborative team where technical excellence and process improvement are valued, and where your work directly shapes how customers experience our products online.
What you'll get to do
You'll play a key part in how customers see and understand our products, through consistent, high-quality studio photography and efficient production workflows.
You will:
- Produce high-quality, consistent product photography of our full range for use on our website, marketplaces, and commercial platforms.
- Manage a high-volume studio shoot schedule, handling a large number of SKUs with consistent lighting, camera setup, and styling.
- Ensure accurate colour and detail representation of every product, meeting brand and technical specifications so customers can trust what they see online.
- Edit, retouch, and colour-correct product imagery using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom, maintaining consistency across large batches of images.
- Prepare, optimise, and organise assets for different platforms, maintaining a scalable digital asset library.
- Use AI-powered tools to accelerate repetitive post-production tasks — background removal, batch colour correction, and image consistency at scale — while maintaining accuracy and brand integrity.
- Build and use AI generated insitu settings for rugs to be inlayed v's shooting them traditionally with furniture and styling. You will work with the Art Director on seasonal requirements to keep these styled "rooms" on trend and engaging for the end customer.
- Build and refine repeatable production workflows that increase shoot and editing throughput without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with Product and Merchandising teams to plan shoot schedules, prioritise new launches, and ensure imagery accurately reflects product specifications.
What will help you succeed
You'll likely bring:
- 3+ years of experience in product or eCommerce photography, ideally in a studio setting
- A strong portfolio demonstrating consistent, technical, high-volume product photography (not primarily editorial or lifestyle work)
- Strong technical skills in studio lighting, camera settings, and colour accuracy
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom for batch editing and retouching
- Experience using AI-powered tools to improve post-production efficiency (e.g. background removal, batch processing) is a must.
- Comfort with precise, repetitive, detail-oriented work — consistency and accuracy across hundreds of shots matters more than variety
- Strong organisational skills, able to manage a high-volume shoot schedule and consistently meet deadlines
- Experience in eCommerce, retail, homewares, interiors, or textiles/rugs is highly regarded
Most importantly, you're someone who takes pride in getting the technical details right every time, enjoys the discipline of studio production, and is motivated to find smarter, faster ways to work at scale.
