PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

v Responsible for operational tasks associated with Product Configuration, Engineering Bill of Material (EBOM) Integrity, and Document Control.

v Update / maintain Engineering Data Management team database information relative to Configuration Management following company procedures.

v Allocate company specifications and revisions per company policies and procedures.

v Review drawings and specifications for engineering drawing change completeness, coordinating discrepancies with Project Engineering.

v Follow team procedures to ensure the quality of release of a document.

v Set up Change Tasks and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) within ENOVIA, the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.

v Audit drawings and EBOM per company policies and procedures.

v Supplier document routing, SOS and SUB collector's support

v Standards release activity and data management in ENOVIA.

v Coordinates with other engineering and manufacturing personnel to coordinate design function and resolve technical problems.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

v Basic Knowledge of CAD software’s (CATIA V5V6, Solidworks)

v Ability to read Engineering drawings and Part lists.

v Understanding of 2D & 3D design concepts

v Ability to read and produce 2D drawings using standard industry practices.

v Knowledge of product lifecycle management software’s (ENOVIA)

v Time management skills to support multiple concurrent projects.

v Basic Proficiency in using Microsoft Office tools such as Word and Excel

ADDITIONAL COMPETENCIES

v Excellent written, verbal communications skills and interpersonal skills are essential to communicate with domestic and foreign counterparts.

v Candidate should possess good understanding of concepts and practical approach to problem solving.

Qualifications

v Diploma in Mechanical or Aerospace or Automobile Engineering

v With 1-2 years’ experience in CAD (Solidworks, AutoCAD or Catia)

v Familiarity with product lifecycle management and engineering release processes preferred.
