Role

Under the direct supervision of Cluster Reservations Manager, Cluster Reservations Agent is responsible for all inquiries on direct reservations for Aman Tokyo and other properties in charge. Cluster Reservations Agent is responsible for closing the sales to achieve the budget/goals set by the hotel while following the sales strategy given by the management.

Responsibilities

  • As a team, compliance to one of Amansanti’s competencies “Celebrate Communities,” TEAM PLAYER, COMMUNICATIONS and HUMAN TOUCH to both guests and team members
  • Cluster Reservations Agent will actively maximize the rooms revenue for multiple properties (Aman Tokyo and Janu Tokyo as of February 2023 and expected to have more in the future). This role will drive the continued development and growth of customer service standards, revenue from multiple hotels and to deliver Aman’s mission relating to profit, people, customer and quality
  • To ensure that the Brand is protected, to ensure that all business partners and guests are surprised and delighted by their on-property experience, in the best traditions of the Aman culture.
  • Assisting and advising customers who may be choosing from a variety of options/offers.
  • Making reservations for customers based on their various requirements and budgetary allowances.
  • Processing payments and sending confirmation details to customers.
  • Sorting out any issues that may arise with bookings or reservations.
  • Follow Best Practice and Standard Operating Procedures to ensure all commercial decisions are supported by appropriate data analysis.
  • Selling and promoting reservation services.
  • Answering any questions customers might have about the reservation process.
  • Up-selling, when appropriate, by informing customers of additional services or special packages, such as upgraded accommodation.

Requirements

  • verbal and written proficiency in English and Japanese
  • Degree/Diploma in any discipline
  • minimum 3 year working at an international luxury hotel
  • Data entry experience, computer knowledge, ability to work long hours
