Delivery Rider

About Us:

Our Client, a manufacturing company based along Mombasa Road is looking for disciplined, reliable, and experienced Delivery Rider to join their logistics team.

The Role:

As a Delivery Rider, you will be the face of our company, ensuring packages are delivered promptly and safely to our clients across Nairobi and its environs and run an assortment of office errands.

• Pre-Delivery Preparation

  – Inspect the bike, review delivery schedules, plan routes, secure packages, and ensure all gear and tools are ready.

• Pickup and Delivery Execution

  – Collect, transport, and deliver packages on time while confirming delivery and handling cash or returns.

• Customer Service

  – Communicate politely with customers, confirm locations, protect their privacy, and resolve basic issues professionally.

• Vehicle and Equipment Care

  – Keep the motorbike and delivery equipment clean, fuelled, maintained, and report any faults immediately.

• Documentation and Reporting

  – Maintain accurate delivery logs, submit proof of delivery, report incidents, and return cash or undelivered items.

• Safety and Compliance

  – Follow traffic rules, carry valid documents, ride safely, and adhere to company SOPs and legal requirements.

• General Support Duties

  – Assist with loading, warehouse tasks, briefings, training, and represent the company professionally at all times.

Requirements

Key Requirements:

• Location:

  Must reside along Mombasa Road or surrounding areas (e.g., South B, South C, Syokimau, Mlolongo, Imara Daima, Athi River).

• License:

  Valid Class FG (Motorbike) license with a clean riding record.

• Experience:

  Minimum 1-2 years of proven experience in delivery/logistics in a company.

• Documents:

  Valid Certificate of Good Conduct, NTSA Smart DL, and NHIF/NSSF registration.

• Knowledge:

  Extensive knowledge of Nairobi routes and traffic patterns.

• Attributes:

  Smart appearance, excellent time management, and strong customer service skills.
