Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
  • Experience architecting AI systems on cloud platforms.
  • Experience building full-stack solutions that interface with enterprise systems.
  • Experience engaging with, or presenting to, technical stakeholders or executive leaders.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Korean fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 7 years of experience in cloud computing, with a specialized focus on machine learning architecture, software development and model deployment in a customer-facing or consulting role.
  • Experience managing stakeholder expectations and building consensus around complex AI initiatives, including navigating discussions on model ethics, bias, and return on investment.
  • Understanding of the AI/ML landscape, including familiarity with model evaluation frameworks, prompt engineering, and the integration of third-party foundational models.
  • Ability to translate ambiguous customer requirements into actionable AI roadmaps, defining the technical architecture for fine-tuning, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and custom model development.

As an Applied Solutions Architect within the Google Cloud Go-To-Market (GTM) team, you will act as the technical bridge between our customers' business challenges and Google’s engineering capabilities. You will work closely with customers to uncover their needs, architect scalable systems, and write code and build real-world applications.

You will not be building in a vacuum. Your core objective is to engineer the Proof of Value (PoV) products designed to integrate seamlessly into a customer’s existing, "as-is" systems. By keeping the final production end-state in mind from day one, you will advocate for our AI and cloud-native solutions to not only look great on a whiteboard but function flawlessly in their actual enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own the technical relationship with partners, empowering them to drive a successful pilot or proof of concept, support partners drive toward customer acceptance of the technical proposal, leading to an agreement, and work with partners during the migration phase to assure they have all the tools necessary to deliver a successful deployment.
  • Build trusted advisory relationships and make recommendations on integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete solution providing best practice advice to customers to optimize Google Cloud effectiveness.
  • Lead the design, development, and iterative refinement of data-centric and AI-powered solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Establish and promote innovative best practices and methodologies for AI-driven solutions, actively contributing to industry thought leadership through publications, presentations, and community engagement.
