Key Responsibilities

Target Market Monitoring & Alerts

  • Monitor and analyse negative and neutral Target Market (TM) alerts on a daily basis across the relevant booking centres and product lines.
  • Review transactions breaching TM, ensure appropriate justification and complete audit trail for any override.
  • Escalate cases according to defined governance and escalation rules.
  • Identify recurring patterns and systemic issues in TM breaches and propose structural enhancements to the Product Governance framework and related processes.

Manufacturer Reporting

  • Prepare and validate quarterly distributor reporting to product manufacturers (including negative and neutral TM distributions).
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, consistency and timely delivery of reporting.
  • Coordinate responses to manufacturer queries, involving Private Banking, Investment Solutions, First Line of Defense and Second Line of Defense, as needed.
  • Maintain dashboards to provide management with visibility on distribution patterns and TM breaches.

Product Approval Governance(New Product Approval – NPA)

  • Facilitate and coordinate the New Product Approval process across all stakeholders.
  • Ensure strict adherence to the Product Approval Policy and established governance standards.
  • Organise and track cross‑functional sign‑offs (PB, Compliance, Risk, Operations and other relevant functions).
  • Monitor end‑to‑end approval timelines and ensure full archiving of documentation.

Ongoing Monitoring & Framework Evolution

  • Act as a coordination point for the Product Governance and Life‑Cycle Committee (e.g. LPC).
  • Monitor anomaly trends and key risk indicators related to product distribution.
  • Provide data analytics to support periodic reassessment of Target Market definitions and EFG internal Target Market Approach (EFG TMA).
  • Facilitate dialogue and alignment between Business, PB COO, Operations, Compliance and the LPC.
  • Support regular reviews and recalibration of Target Market definitions to reflect market, regulatory and business developments.

Your Profile

  • Strong knowledge of MiFID II, in particular the Product Governance framework (target market definition, manufacturer–distributor interaction, reporting and reviews).
  • Solid experience in data handling and reporting (advanced Excel skills for extraction, reconciliation, monitoring and dashboarding).
  • Good understanding of private banking business models, investment and wealth management products (funds, structured products, mandates, etc.) and distribution channels.
  • Professional level of English (spoken and written); French is an asset.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and sound judgement.
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly and manage potential conflicts constructively.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
