Job Description

Are you an experienced secretarial professional who thrives on delivering exceptional client service while leading and developing high-performing teams? As an Associate Manager - Secretarial, you'll play a key role in overseeing the delivery of fund and corporate administration services, ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and outstanding client outcomes. Working closely with clients, relationship managers, and internal teams, you'll review complex transactions, provide technical guidance, and help drive the continued growth and success of a dynamic fund administration function.

What You Willl Do

  • You'll review and approve fund administration deliverables, ensuring all client work is accurate, compliant, and completed in accordance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and service standards.
  • You'll oversee complex fund transactions and investor activities, ensuring supporting documentation, approvals, and regulatory requirements are properly completed and maintained.
  • You'll act as a key point of contact for clients, relationship managers, auditors, regulators, and other stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships and delivering a high standard of service.
  • You'll coach, mentor, and develop team members, providing technical guidance, reviewing work, and supporting their performance and career development.
  • You'll support operational efficiency and risk management by monitoring workflow, resolving client issues proactively, ensuring regulatory compliance, and safeguarding the firm's information assets.

Qualifications

About you

  • You hold a degree and/or a fully qualified professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, ACA, or an equivalent qualification.
  • You bring robust experience in Fund Accounting, including people management experience.
  • You possess strong technical knowledge of IFRS and relevant GAAPs, with the ability to apply accounting standards to complex client structures and transactions.
  • You demonstrate proven leadership and relationship management skills, with experience coaching teams and partnering with senior-level clients.
  • You're highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and fund accounting systems, with excellent communication skills in both English and French.
