About the Job:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Bartender to join the Food and Beverage team in Jumeirah Olhahali Island.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

• Uphold Jumeirah's values and brand standards, ensuring proactive, timely, and attentive service to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Assist the Manager in organizing daily service operations and schedules to ensure smooth experiences for guests.
• Maintain excellent communication with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service and coordination during meal periods.
• Share guest preferences, special requests, and dietary restrictions with the team to ensure personalized service.
• Prepare and serve a wide range of cocktails, mocktails, spirits, and other beverages with precision and flair.
• Deliver professional, engaging, and personalized guest service, anticipating needs and exceeding expectations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area according to five-star standards.
• Ensure compliance with all hygiene, safety, and responsible service of alcohol regulations.
• Maintain accurate stock control, assist with inventory, and minimize wastage.
• Collaborate closely with the service team to ensure seamless coordination during operations.
• Promote signature and themed cocktails that reflect the resort’s identity and sense of place.
• Stay updated with current mixology trends, techniques, and premium product knowledge.
• Assist in bar setup for special events, private dinners, and pop-up experiences.
• Handle guest feedback with professionalism and a genuine desire to create satisfaction.

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• 2 years of relevant experience in hospitality or related industries
• Experience working in a multi-cultural environment preferably in Maldives
• Proficiency in English
• Strong knowledge of mixology, classic cocktails, wines, and premium spirits.
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Outgoing personality with a passion for guest interaction and storytelling.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, high-end environment while maintaining composure.
• Attention to detail, creativity, and a strong sense of presentation.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
