Import Export and Traffic Coordinator

Who will you be working with?

As a Traffic Coordinator, you will collaborate with the Materials team, Customs team, Finance team, and Brokers. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all materials arriving at the borders are not delayed due to paperwork issues. Additionally, you will support internal customers by providing updates on the status of materials at the border and supplying necessary information to the Customs and Finance teams. You will also be responsible for creating a tax and customs budget and tracking all expenses to stay within this budget.

As a Traffic Coordinator, you will oversee the coordination of importing and exporting materials once they arrive at the border. By ensuring the correct paperwork is in place, you will facilitate the swift movement of materials across the border, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. You will manage all relevant information to minimize tax payments and ensure compliance working with the Customs Team.

What do we want to know about you?

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in corporate business environment
• Demonstrated ability to anticipate, Identify, and resolve complex issues
• Strong accounting and system knowledge with process management experience
• Advanced level of communication in English
• Self starter, ability to leverage cross functional relationships to solve problems
• Established analytical and project management ability with a simplification / automation / digitization mindset
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Prior business and/or ORACLE ERP experience

What will your typical day look like?

* Review status of import

* Send the instructions for the new export process

* Work the broker's inventory and comparing with the material intransit

* Send all the missing documents or new requirements for the import

* Review the missing parts with no Mexican HTS Code

* Rewiew the charges from the Brokers' services

* Attend the internal requirements (Tracking number status, documents for compliance, etc)
