Drive the adoption and access of Cardio-Renal therapies through scientific promotion, advocacy development with specialists, and execution of commercial strategies in government and institutional markets. The role contributes to sustainable business growth and improved patient outcomes by combining commercial execution, market development, and access initiatives within the public healthcare ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement and Advocacy
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with specialists and other key healthcare stakeholders.
- Communicate the clinical and scientific value of the Cardio-Renal portfolio in accordance with approved materials and compliance requirements.
- Develop advocacy with Key Opinion Leaders and support medical education activities in collaboration with relevant cross-functional teams.
- Identify customer needs, barriers to adoption, and opportunities to improve patient access to Cardio-Renal therapies.
- Engage healthcare professionals through face-to-face and approved digital channels, including e-detailing, virtual meetings, web-based training, physician portals, and other authorized platforms.
Market Access and Government Business
- Identify access opportunities and barriers within public healthcare institutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support institutional access initiatives.
- Contribute to the growth of the government business by understanding healthcare system dynamics, institutional processes, and the needs of key stakeholders.
- Support market development initiatives that improve the positioning, adoption, and availability of Cardio-Renal therapies within the public health system.
- Develop a strong understanding of the public and private healthcare environment to identify strategic business opportunities.
Territory and Business Management
- Design and implement territory plans aligned with national strategy and business objectives.
- Manage strategic accounts and market development opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Achieve sales, adoption, access, and brand-positioning objectives for the Cardio-Renal portfolio.
- Monitor territory performance, customer activity, market dynamics, and competitor activity to identify opportunities and take timely action.
- Develop and execute account plans in collaboration with Customer Team Leads and relevant internal stakeholders.
- Manage resources effectively to maximize the impact of commercial activities and customer engagements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Customer Team Leads, Medical Affairs, Marketing, Market Access, Commercial Excellence, Government Affairs/Public Affairs, Training & Effectiveness, Finance, and Compliance.
- Participate in the implementation of account plans, territory strategies, and customer engagement initiatives.
- Generate and share market, customer, and stakeholder insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate on initiatives that strengthen access, advocacy, scientific engagement, and commercial performance.
Compliance and Operational Excellence
- Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with Bayer policies, ethical standards, industry codes, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and timely records in CRM systems and approved digital tools.
- Follow approved promotional materials, communication guidelines, and reporting requirements.
- Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, customer focus, and operational excellence.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in specialized pharmaceutical sales.
- Knowledge of the public and private healthcare systems.
- Experience engaging with medical specialists and managing customer accounts.
- Strong scientific communication and customer engagement skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment.
- Strong analytical, planning, and execution capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Cardiology, Nephrology, Diabetes, or related therapeutic areas.
- Experience in institutional access, government business, or public healthcare markets.
- Experience developing relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and scientific stakeholders.
- Experience managing strategic accounts and territory business plans.
