ICS & CONTROLLING TRAINEE
BMW FINANCIAL SERVICES
The ICS & Controlling Trainee supports Internal Control Systems (ICS) and Controlling activities across Mexico and the LATAM region, contributing to financial transparency, risk management, and business performance monitoring. Working closely with Finance, Risk Management, Internal Audit, business units and regional stakeholders. This role assists in financial analysis, reporting, control testing, and process improvement initiatives. Additionally, the trainee supports budgeting, forecasting, compliance activities, and digital transformation projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and decision-making.
WHAT AWAITS YOU?
- Support the execution and monitoring of Internal Control System (ICS) activities to ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for management and controlling stakeholders.
- Assist in month-end and quarter-end closing activities, validating financial information and following up on open items.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes through financial analysis and scenario modeling.
- Assist with internal and external audit activities, control testing, and remediation follow-up tasks.
WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING ALONG?
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related.
- Up to 2 years of experience through internships, trainee programs, or entry-level positions in Finance, Controlling, Audit, Accounting, or Consulting.
- Knowledge of internal controls, accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance frameworks is desirable.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with regional and cross-functional teams.
- Proactive mindset, attention to detail, and a strong interest in financial analysis, risk management, and process improvement.
