Job Responsibilities
- Acquire and deliver banking solutions to the SME segment by providing great client experiences and understanding client business needs.
- Deliver on all targeted products and services as measured through the relevant client management systems and the contribution statement.
- Improve client service through delivering relevant products and services according to client needs.
- Maintain and build a portfolio of SME clients.
- Unearth client sales/solution opportunities and execute on these opportunities.
- Undertake thorough needs analysis across all clients' spheres of financial influence and ensure clients are entrenched into Nedbank.
- Respond within agreed timelines to tasks and responsibilities deployed onto the relevant systems.
- Build and maintain effective professional relationships with high-value profile clients through contact management.
- Deliver banking solutions that meet client needs.Understand clients' business needs.
- Proactively engage clients in a manner that is relevant to their specific circumstances.
- Collaborate with specialists in client engagements to cross-sell and create value-based solutions.
- Ensure work is completed according to agreed principles, processes and procedures, with progress reviewed and corrective action taken where necessary.

- Comply with risk standards, policies and procedures through training and development as required by the group compliance framework.
- Facilitate client compliance correctness in line with Nedbank internal and regulatory standards.
- Identify and resolve work-related obstacles and problems and escalate to senior management when necessary.
- Contribute to the improvement of policies, procedures, standards and processes by applying own experience and insights where applicable.
- Understand the bank's risk and credit policy and manage client expectations accordingly.
- Comply with internal standard procedures to facilitate the execution of client requirements.
- Support the achievement of business strategy, objectives and values by reviewing the Nedbank and Business Unit Plan and ensuring that delivered systems, processes, services and solutions are aligned.
- Identify training courses and career progression opportunities through input and feedback from management.
- Ensure all personal development plan activities are completed within specified timeframes.
- Share knowledge and industry trends with team members and stakeholders during formal and informal interactions.
- Contribute to a culture that supports transformation goals through participation in Nedbank culture-building initiatives.
- Participate in and support corporate responsibility initiatives.
- Seek opportunities to improve business processes and systems by identifying and recommending effective ways to operate and add value to Nedbank.
Essential Qualifications - NQF Level
- Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees
Preferred Qualification
- Degree in Business, Finance, or Marketing (e.g., Bachelor of Commerce; Certified Associate of the Institute of Bankers).
- FAIS Full Qualification.
Minimum Experience Level
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a banking organisation.
- Two years' experience as a Relationship Banker.
- One year leadership/supervisory experience.
