Business Applications Implementation Consultant (ERP)

We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced and detail-oriented Business Applications Implementation Consultant with 2-3 years of experience in ERP implementation and business process automation. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, supporting, and optimizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) and Sage 300 solutions for clients across various industries.

The ideal candidate should possess strong business process analysis skills, ERP implementation experience, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

ERP Implementation & Deployment

• Conduct end-to-end implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Sage 300c solutions, etc.
• Conduct business process reviews and requirements-gathering sessions with clients.
• Configure ERP modules based on client requirements and industry best practices.
• Prepare solution design, system setup, testing, and deployment.

Business Process Analysis

• Analyze client workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Document business requirements, process maps, and functional specifications.
• Recommend ERP-driven solutions to improve operational efficiency and business performance.

Data and System Integration

• Assist in data activities from legacy systems to ERP platforms.
• Validate data and ensure data integrity.
• Support integrations with third-party applications, payroll systems, reporting tools and other applications

User Training & Support

• Provide end-user training and system documentation.
• Support clients during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Offer post-implementation support and troubleshooting.
• Resolve user issues within agreed service levels.

Reporting & Documentation

• Develop reports, dashboards, and business intelligence outputs.
• Prepare project status reports and implementation documentation.
• Maintain accurate project and support records.

Client Relationship Management

• Engage clients professionally and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Conduct product demonstrations and solution presentations when required.
• Support pre-sales activities and proposal development.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience

• 2-3 years' experience implementing ERPs or business software solutions.
• Experience in the following applications, among others, will be preferred:
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Sage 300
• Experience in ERP support, configuration, or business analysis.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of Financial Accounting processes.
• Understanding of Inventory, Procurement, Sales, and Distribution processes.
• Basic SQL/database knowledge.
• Data migration and ERP implementation methodologies.
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency, particularly Excel.
• Experience with Power BI is an advantage.

• Sage ERP Certification (added advantage).
• Experience working with Construction, Oil & Gas Manufacturing, Distribution, Retail, or Professional Services organizations.
• Knowledge of Nigerian business, tax, and regulatory requirements.
