Introduction

• INVISTA is looking for a Senior E&I Technician / Installation Owner (Installatieverantwoordelijke). In this combined role you are responsible on the one hand for safely coordinating and carrying out maintenance work, inspections and repairs in the plant, and on the other hand, as Installation Owner, for the safety and technical condition of the electrical installations assigned to you.
• The department’s objective is to maintain, repair and adapt the plant’s equipment and installations in the field of electrical and instrumentation engineering, as well as to carry out modifications. You are part of the Maintenance department and report to the Maintenance Manager.
• You therefore combine hands-on execution in the field with formal ownership of electrical installation safety. Do you not yet hold the Installation Owner appointment? We will train you for it.

What does your day look like?

• As Senior E&I Technician you share responsibility for leading and coaching a small team of E&I technicians and contractors. You monitor progress correctly and report back to the internal customer. You ensure the accuracy of technical specifications, work descriptions and drawings, and the timely preparation of permit applications. You communicate proactively about progress, bottlenecks, budget overruns and results.
• As Installation Owner you look one level further ahead: you safeguard the condition of the electrical installations throughout their lifecycle, make sure inspections, certifications and documentation are in order, and set the framework within which work on and near those installations may safely be performed.

Your responsibilities as Senior E&I Technician

• Checking the work site, together with the materials and resources required for the job.
• Acting as the point of contact for the E&I department.
• Holding work briefings in the field with your team and contractors, and checking the LMRA (last minute risk analysis).
• Ensuring the correct safety measures are in place in the field and setting the example in this role.
• Reviewing the work well before execution, in consultation with the work preparer.
• Signing off completed work and performing quality control in the field.
• Attending various meetings for MOCs, TRAs, projects, turnarounds and similar.

Your responsibilities as Installation Owner (Installatieverantwoordelijke)

• Following formal appointment by the employer, you carry responsibility for the safety and technical condition of the electrical installations assigned to you.
• You monitor the condition of the installations throughout their lifecycle and ensure that periodic inspections, certifications and maintenance are planned, executed and demonstrably recorded on time.
• You nominate work supervisors, skilled persons and instructed persons for appointment, and keep the register of appointments up to date.
• You draw up safety rules, work instructions and procedures for work on and near electrical installations, and monitor compliance with them.
• You assess and authorise special activities, including live working, and determine which additional measures are required.
• You manage the installation documentation: single-line diagrams, drawings, the installation ownership file and associated records, ensuring these remain current after modifications.
• You identify risks and advise management on replacements, investments and improvements to the electrical infrastructure.
• You ensure that changes (MOCs) and projects comply with the applicable standards before the installation is returned to service.

• At least an MBO level 4 diploma in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation & Control Engineering;
• At least 3 years of work experience in a comparable position;

Introductie

• INVISTA is op zoek naar een Senior E&I Technician / Installatieverantwoordelijke. In deze gecombineerde functie ben je enerzijds verantwoordelijk voor het veilig coördineren en uitvoeren van onderhoudswerkzaamheden, inspecties en reparaties in de fabriek, en ben je anderzijds als Installatieverantwoordelijke verantwoordelijk voor de veiligheid en technische staat van de aan jou toegewezen elektrische installaties.
• De doelstelling van de afdeling is het onderhouden, repareren en aanpassen van de bedrijfsmiddelen en installaties op elektro- en instrumentatietechnisch gebied, alsmede het uitvoeren van modificaties. Je bent onderdeel van de Maintenance afdeling en rapporteert aan de Maintenance Manager.
• Je combineert dus de operationele uitvoering in het veld met het formele beheer van de elektrische installatieveiligheid. Beschik je nog niet over de aanwijzing als Installatieverantwoordelijke? Dan leiden wij je hierin op.

Hoe ziet je dag eruit?

• Als Senior E&I Technician ben je medeverantwoordelijk voor het aansturen en coachen van een klein team dat bestaat uit E&I technicians en contractors. Je bent daarbij verantwoordelijk voor een correcte bewaking van de voortgang en de terugkoppeling naar de interne klant. Zo zorg je voor juistheid van de technische specificaties, werkomschrijvingen, tekeningen en tijdigheid van voorbereiding van vergunningaanvragen. Je communiceert proactief over de voortgang, knelpunten, budgetoverschrijdingen en resultaten. Je bent tevens bezig met onderhoudswerkzaamheden in de fabriek.
• Als Installatieverantwoordelijke kijk je een niveau verder: je bewaakt de staat van de elektrische installaties over de hele levensduur, zorgt dat inspecties, keuringen en documentatie op orde zijn, en stelt de kaders vast waarbinnen er veilig aan en nabij die installaties gewerkt mag worden.

Jouw werkzaamheden als Senior E&I Technician

• Het controleren van de werkplek. Ook controleer je de benodigde materialen en middelen die nodig zijn voor de klus.
• Aanspreekpunt van de E&I afdeling.
• Zorg dragen voor de juiste veiligheidsmaatregelen in het veld en een voorbeeldfunctie vervullen in deze rol.
• Controleren van de werkzaamheden ruim voor uitvoering, je hebt daarbij overleg met de werkvoorbereider.
• Je neemt werkzaamheden af en loopt kwaliteitscontrole in het veld.
• Het analyseren en oplossen van storingen in de fabriek, zodat installaties veilig en zo snel mogelijk weer beschikbaar zijn.
• Het uitvoeren van preventief onderhoud in de fabriek om storingen te voorkomen en de betrouwbaarheid te verhogen.
• Bijwonen van diverse overleggen t.b.v. MOC’s, TRA’s, projecten, turnarounds e.d.

Jouw werkzaamheden als Installatieverantwoordelijke

• Je draagt, na formele aanwijzing door de werkgever, de verantwoordelijkheid voor de veiligheid en de technische staat van de aan jou toegewezen elektrische installaties.
• Je bewaakt de conditie van de installaties gedurende de hele levensduur en zorgt dat periodieke inspecties, keuringen en onderhoud tijdig worden ingepland, uitgevoerd en aantoonbaar vastgelegd.
• Je draagt werkverantwoordelijken, vakbekwame personen en voldoende onderrichte personen voor ter aanwijzing, en houdt het aanwijzingenregister actueel.
• Je stelt veiligheidsvoorschriften, werkinstructies en procedures op voor werken aan en nabij elektrische installaties, en ziet toe op de naleving daarvan.
• Je beoordeelt en autoriseert bijzondere werkzaamheden, waaronder werken onder spanning, en bepaalt welke aanvullende maatregelen nodig zijn.
• Je beheert de installatiedocumentatie: eendraadschema’s, tekeningen, installatieverantwoordelijkheidsdossier en bijbehorende registraties, en zorgt dat deze na modificaties actueel blijven.
• Je signaleert risico’s en adviseert het management over vervangingen, investeringen en verbeteringen aan de elektrische infrastructuur.
• Je borgt dat wijzigingen (MOC’s) en projecten voldoen aan de geldende normen voordat de installatie weer in bedrijf wordt genomen.

Wat vragen wij

• Minimaal een MBO niveau 4 diploma in de richting van Elektrotechniek of Meet- en Regeltechniek;
• Minimaal 3 jaar werkervaring in een vergelijkbare functie;
• Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden en het vermogen om anderen aan te spreken op veilig werken;
• Zorgvuldig en gestructureerd, in staat om verantwoordelijkheid te dragen en onderbouwde besluiten te nemen over veiligheid;
• In staat om resultaatgericht te werken en verbeteringen door te voeren;
• Goede beheersing van de Nederlandse taal, zowel in woord als geschrift.
