About the role

The F&B Administrator supports the F&B Management Team and the outlet managers with administrative and cost-control tasks related to all F&B outlets, as well as support the operation when required.

This includes a variety of administrative tasks, with the main focus on:

  • Supporting the processing of reservation requests for the various F&B outlets
  • Planning, coordinating, and supporting team trainings
  • Updating menus when necessary, including updating the POS system and QR codes
  • Ensuring smooth service according to the highest quality standards in all aspects of the operation, in line with our brand values and standards
  • Assisting the F&B Reservations & Office Manager and the F&B Director with various projects

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

  • Cost control responsibilities:
    Supporting the F&B management team with various cost control tasks
    • Being able to effectively control beverage costs
    • Monitoring Food & Beverage teams on waste, theft, and efficiency
    • Supporting the finance and F&B teams in carrying out monthly stock counts
    • Analyzing and following up on variance reports
    • Ensuring all received and missing items are correctly processed in the system
    • Supporting F&B management with menu engineering and menu costing

  • Coordination tasks:
    Coordinating (group) bookings and requests across various F&B outlets
    • Playing an important role in promotions and events with different departments
    • Handling individual reservations and small groups

  • Operational Support Responsibilities:
    • Supporting the day-to-day operation across Bowery Restaurant, Axis Bar, and Banqueting & Events
    • Providing hands-on operational support on the floor, approximately one day per week
    • Assisting outlet teams during busy service periods and special events

Who are we looking for?

Our ideal candidate has previous experience in restaurants, hotels, or a similar work environment and values hospitality highly.

To be successful in this role, it is important that you have:
• At least 1 year of experience as an F&B Supervisor or strong experience in a similar role
• Interest in financial management
• A proactive mindset and ability to collaborate with outlet managers for efficient operations
• Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus)
• Advanced knowledge of programs such as Windows, MS Office, and Teams
• A positive, proactive attitude

Additional advantages:
• Interest in high-quality food and wines

This is primarily a 9–5 role (starting later can be discussed), mainly Monday to Friday. However, flexibility is expected depending on business needs, and occasionally you may be asked to work a weekend day or evening.
This means enjoying hospitality, but within more office-based working hours.
