As an Associate Community Relations Manager, you will join our Community Relations & Wellness team and play a key role in developing and delivering initiatives that support both our team members and the communities around us. You will contribute to Applied Medical's commitment to community engagement and employee wellbeing by creating impactful programs, events, and partnerships that inspire participation and connection.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute community relations initiatives and events, ensuring projects are delivered effectively, on time, and within budget
- Manage community relations projects in collaboration with internal stakeholders and leaders, providing regular progress updates and financial oversight
- Lead the end-to-end charitable donation program, including application management, evaluation processes, financial administration, and the preparation of reports and presentations for the Community Relations Committtee
- Collect, analyze, and summarize participation and feedback data to evaluate program effectiveness and identify opporunities for continuous improvement
- Develop engaging communication content and campaigns to promote community initiatives, volunteering opportunities, and employee engagement activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with cross‑functional teams, nonprofit organizations, community partners, and external partners
- Support the planning and execution of internal evets and broader projects led by the Community Relations & Wellness team
- Contribute ideas and recommendations for new programs and initiatives that strengthen Applied Medical's culture, community impact, and employee experience
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Event Management, Hospitality, Project Management, Communications, or a related field
- 2+ years of relevant professional experience, preferably within an international organization
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Dutch and English
- Experience coordinating programs, organizing events, and supporting community engagement or outreach initiatives
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously
- Analytical mindset with the ability to track and interpret data, identify trends, and develop recommendations for leadership review
