Join NOV Tuboscope in Tananger as an Inspection Assistant and become part of a team that helps ensure the quality and integrity of tubular equipment used in the energy industry.
This is a hands-on role where you will work closely with experienced inspectors and support the team in completing inspection work safely, efficiently and to the required quality standard.
You do not need previous NDT or inspection experience to apply. We are looking for someone who is hardworking, reliable, respectful and willing to learn. For us, the right attitude, a strong work ethic and the ability to work well with others are more important than a specific educational background.
The work is practical and can be physically demanding. Some tasks involve cleaning and preparation, and you should be comfortable working in an operational environment where teamwork, punctuality and a willingness to contribute are important.

What you will do
• Work as part of the inspection team to prepare tubular equipment for inspection.
• Assist inspectors throughout the inspection process.
• Prepare inspection areas, tools and equipment for daily operations.
• Support the team in completing inspection activities safely, efficiently and in accordance with procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area.
• Assist with basic data entry, documentation and record keeping when required.
• Follow HSE, quality and operational procedures.
• Participate in training and learn basic inspection principles and techniques.
• Communicate any safety or quality concerns to the team.
