About the Role… At Super Retail Group, our purpose is to inspire and equip everyone to live their passion every day! As a Merchandise Assistant, you'll support our Merchandise and Buying teams by maintaining accurate product and inventory information, coordinating key processes, and ensuring data integrity across our systems. Working closely with internal stakeholders and trade partners, you'll play an important role in keeping our products and information flowing smoothly.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Keep Our Product Information Accurate - Maintain product, supplier and inventory data across multiple systems, ensuring information is accurate, up to date and reliable.
  • Support Buying & Inventory Processes - Manage purchase orders, amendments and inventory activities including promotions, markdowns and price changes.
  • Provide Reporting & Insights - Assist with reporting, and analysis to help support informed buying and product decisions.
  • Drive Operational Excellence - Monitor data integrity, manage error reporting and support efficient processes that keep the team operating smoothly.
  • Collaborate Across the Business - Work closely with Buying, Marketing, Design, Visual Merchandising, trade partners and the wider Super Retail Group team to coordinate information and activities.
  • Support Continuous Improvement - Identify opportunities to improve processes and embrace new technologies, including AI-enabled tools, to enhance team effectiveness and performance.

About You… You're highly organised, detail-oriented and enjoy working with data, systems and processes. You love being part of a team and take pride in getting the details right. You'll also bring:

  • Administration Excellence - Strong administration and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
  • Data & Systems Savvy - Confident working with data, systems and databases, maintaining accuracy and integrity across all information.
  • Advanced Excel Capability - Highly proficient in Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to analyse, report and manage data effectively.
  • Exceptional Attention to Detail - A meticulous approach to your work, ensuring a consistently high level of accuracy across products, inventory and reporting.
  • Collaborative & Customer Focused - Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships with stakeholders across the business.
  • Curious, Proactive & Future Focused - An inquisitive mindset with strong problem-solving skills, an interest in retail and products, and a willingness to embrace new technologies, including AI tools.
