As Centre Administrator, you'll play a key role in keeping our centre running smoothly, supporting our teachers, and creating a positive experience for whānau. If you're looking for a rewarding role where your skills are valued and your impact is felt every day, we'd love to hear from you.

This role is 30 hours per week

Opportunity | Te Aheinga

  • Greeting parents, visitors and tamariki and support positive daily interactions
  • Managing enrolment and attendance information in Discover and other systems
  • Supporting invoicing, receipting and basic debtor follow up
  • Answering phone calls, emails and day to day enquiries
  • Preparing reports and support compliance and licensing requirements
  • Coordinating information between the centre and Support Office
  • Assisting the Centre Manager with general admin and organisational tasks
  • Helping with events, parent evenings and community connections

About You | Mou
You are a professional who thrives in a busy environment. Your background and skills will include:

  • Administration experience in a similar environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to connect with whanau from diverse backgrounds
  • Experience using various technology tools and you will be comfortable learning new software
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in all record keeping
  • Knowledge of ECE legislation, funding, and WINZ subsidies is highly preferred
