Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Do you want to be involved in designing high-quality solutions for shipbuilding and marine industry projects?

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in Brasov, Romania.

In this role, you will act as an expert in electrical engineering for the marine industry and shipbuilding.

Your work will cover:

· different stages of basic and detailed design

· design of electrical systems and system cabling

· documentation and drawing preparation

· collaboration with production and other technical teams

· customer contact and presentation of design solutions

In the projects, you will work on electrical design for different kinds of ship systems, depending on your experience. You will receive support in your work, but as your skills grow, your role will also become more independent. Sometimes you will also get to solve production issues together with other experts.

We have a flexible hybrid work model, and the role is based at our office in Brasov. You will be supported by an experienced team and a work community that values expertise, collaboration and continuous learning.

What we expect from you:

· a degree in electrical or automation engineering, such as a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in engineering

· experience in electrical design for the marine industry or similar industrial projects

· proficiency in the most common CAD design systems, such as AutoCAD and Cadmatic Electrical

· knowledge of classification society rules and their application

· good interaction and negotiation skills

· self-initiative and solution-oriented approach

· good English language skills
