The opportunity
Are you passionate about delivering outstanding service while managing complex projects and building strong customer relationships? We are strengthening our Network Control Service team and are now looking for an experienced Service Project Manager to join us. We offer full flexibility regarding location. You can be based anywhere and work remotely.
As a Service Project Manager within Network Control Service, Europe, you will be responsible for multiple Network Manager SCADA service projects for English and French speaking customers. You will act as the key link between customers, internal teams, and external partners, ensuring high-quality service delivery, commercial excellence, and long-term customer satisfaction. This role offers a dynamic, international environment with close collaboration across the global Hitachi Energy organization.
How you’ll make an impact
- Act as Single Point of Contact for assigned customers, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed
- Lead and deliver service projects with full responsibility for scope, schedule, cost, resources, and quality
- Manage commercial aspects of customer contracts, including planning, risk management, opportunities, and add-on sales
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer experience and system performance
- Collaborate globally and travel as needed to meet customers and work closely with colleagues worldwide, living Hitachi Energy’s values of safety and integrity
Your background
- University degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience
- 3-5 years proven experience of project management, preferably in service-oriented or complex technical projects.
- Experience with SCADA systems, digitalization, or related technologies is highly desirable
- Proven ability to manage customer relationships and work independently with limited supervision
- Fluency in English and French, written and spoken mandatory; additional languages and willingness to travel are considered an advantage
