Senior Human Resources Generalist

Job Overview:

The HR Generalist supports the execution of core HR operations, including onboarding, performance management administration, employee relations support, total rewards administration, employee mobility coordination, reporting, and offboarding activities. This role provides day-to-day HR support, applies HR policies and procedures, and helps ensure adherence to company standards. The HR Generalist partners closely with HR Lead, Site Admis and Centers of Excellence (COEs) to support HR initiatives, contribute to process improvements, and ensure consistent execution across HR systems.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Performance Management & Talent Reviews
• Support performance management processes, ensuring deadlines, system readiness, and data accuracy
• Assist with calibration and talent review sessions
• Respond to performance management process and system inquiries in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Escalate complex issues to the appropriate HR team members when needed

Inclusion & Belonging
• Monitor participation and compliance with Inclusion & Belonging programs
• Analyze standard Inclusion & Belonging reports and identify operational trends for escalation

Talent Acquisition
• Oversee operational aspects of the offer processes, ensuring compliance and data accuracy
• Resolve onboarding issues as required
• Partner with Talent Acquisition and HR Lead to ensure smooth handoffs and execution

Employee Relations
• Support employee relations cases in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Advise managers and employees on HR policies and procedures
• Track employee relations trends and escalate systemic risks to HR Lead
• Partner with HR team members to support employee relations administration

Total Rewards
• Support and administer complex compensation and benefit transactions within established frameworks
• Serve as an escalation point for compensation and benefits inquiries

Employee Mobility
• Coordinate complex mobility cases, including documentation, system updates, and stakeholder communication
• Support employees with visa/work permit-related processes and issues
• Serve as an operational liaison with the Mobility COE
• Ensure compliance with mobility processes and data requirements

Talent Analytics
• Support administration of learning and development programs
• Monitor completion of mandatory and role based training
• Guide HR Generalists and Associates on training administration processes
• Support Talent Profile administration and data quality

Training & Career Development
• Provide training and guidance to employees on HR self-service tools
• Monitor completion of required training and follow up as needed
• Support employees with development plans and Talent Profiles
• Use reports and dashboards to prepare status updates for the business

Recognition
• Oversee operational execution of recognition programs
• Resolve recognition process issues and ensure timely processing
• Provide guidance to managers and HR team members on recognition procedures

Strategic Workforce Planning & National Content
• Ensure job, position, and employee data accuracy to support workforce analytics
• Coordinate National Content reporting and documentation where applicable

Other Responsibilities
• Act as a key member of the HR team, supporting day-to-day HR operations and initiatives
• Collaborate with HR team members to ensure consistent and effective HR service delivery
• Partner with COEs on global initiatives to ensure operational readiness
• Support process improvement efforts to enhance efficiency and consistency
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely system updates
• Comply with HR systems, data governance, and audit requirements
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Essential Qualifications and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience
  • Previous HR generalist or operational HR role experience is preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of HR policies, employee lifecycle processes, and HR systems
  • Support process improvement efforts to enhance efficiency and consistency
  • Experience supporting global HR processes and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to data accuracy
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with employees and managers
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, discretion, and confidentiality
  • Experience supporting employee mobility, immigration, or visa-related processes is a plus
