Road Freight Specialist

We are looking for a Road Freight Forwarder to join our team in Galanta or Nitra in Slovakia. In this role, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end international road freight operations, coordinating closely with carriers, business partners, and customers to ensure efficient and timely execution. You will also support pricing, reporting, and documentation activities while contributing to the delivery of high-quality logistics services.

Responsibilities:

• Daily scheduling and coordination of customer transport orders.
• Preparation of all required transport documentation.
• Receiving, processing, and managing customer orders.
• Continuous monitoring of active transport operations and shipment progress.
• Negotiating rates, terms of carriage, and service conditions with carriers and customers.
• Reviewing and resolving customer and carrier requirements to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), including Transporeon quotations, on-time truck loading, and carrier performance.
• Ensuring accurate data maintenance in Speed, maintaining transport records, updating contact information, and contributing to the company's reputation.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Degree in logistics/supply chain or a similar discipline
• Ideally 3 years’ experience in Freight Forwarding industry with a focus on Road Freight
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet various deadlines
• Intermediate computer skills with a proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint
• Strong analytical skills including ability to analyze numbers and attention to detail
• Excellent command in Slovakian & English

Compensation

Salary range: 15,917-25,024 Euro gross per year*​
