Siemens Mobility Thailand is looking for a SCADA Engineer in Bangkok.

The key responsibilities include:

  • SCADA Design & Execution: Lead the methodical engineering of SCADA work packages (Sitras RSC/DSPM) and detailed design submissions for AC/DC Traction Power Supply (TPS) substations, ensuring full compliance with customer specifications and Siemens standards.
  • System Integration & Interface Management: Drive technical integration and interface clarification across Bulk, Traction, and Service substations, including complex station facilities (HVAC, Fire, LV) and Train Operation systems (Signaling, PSD, AFC).
  • Control Architecture Development: Author and review electrical wiring diagrams and control concepts for SCADA server cabinets and workstations to ensure robust and scalable system architecture.
  • Strategic Technical Support: Elaborate conceptual solutions for ambitious SCADA requirements and provide expert-level technical analysis to resolve complex engineering inquiries in collaboration with manufacturers and project management.
  • Project Governance & Delivery: Take full accountability for the planning and execution of assigned engineering work packages, maintaining strict control over timelines, costs, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Use your skills to move the world forward

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Control & Instrumentation, Automation, or Electrical Power Systems.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in SCADA project realization, with a strong preference for candidates from international project environments or the railway sector.
  • Solid understanding of SCADA and Power Automation systems, including system configuration, manufacturing, and installation. Knowledge of PLC/HMI programming and Database Administration (Oracle/SQL) is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Rail Electrification (High/Medium voltage), Building Facilities (HVAC/Fire/LV), and Network Communication/Security—specifically utilizing Siemens equipment (Simatic S7, SCALANCE).
  • Demonstrated ability in methodical engineering processes, planning, and quality-oriented teamwork, supported by a very good command of written and spoken English.
