Wood is recruiting for two Recruiters to join our APAC Talent Team for an immediate start, supporting workforce growth during the Construction and Commissioning phases of a major EPCM energy project in Si Racha, Chonburi, Thailand. Preference for Talent professionals located in Si Racha, Chonburi, however applications are welcomed from suitably qualified Thai Nationals residing anywhere in Thailand.

This role is offered as a 12-month fixed-term contract, supporting one of Wood's most significant projects in the Asia Pacific region.

Reporting to the Talent Lead, Asia, your focus will be supporting recruitment for a major EPCM project during the construction and commissioning phases. As part of our APAC Talent Team, you will join during a critical phase of project delivery, and help secure the talent needed across Construction, Commissioning, Project Controls, Engineering, HSE, Quality and Site Supervisory disciplines. You will partner closely with project leadership, hiring managers and your colleagues to deliver the right talent at the right time, while contributing to Wood's commitment to an exceptional candidate and stakeholder experience.

In addition, you will:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment activities across technical, project and support functions
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements, hiring priorities and mobilisation plans
  • Develop sourcing strategies to attract qualified construction, commissioning, engineering, project services and site supervisory professionals
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines to support current and future project demands
  • Source candidates through direct search, networking, referrals, social media platforms and talent communities
  • Conduct candidate screening, assessment, and interview coordination
  • Provide recruitment market intelligence and guidance to hiring managers and project stakeholders
  • Deliver a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle
  • Coordinate offer management and onboarding activities
  • Maintain accurate recruitment records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Collaborate with regional and global Talent Team colleagues to deliver successful hiring outcomes

Expected

You must have full Thailand working rights to be considered for this role.

Ideally, you will have 2+ years' experience in full lifecycle recruiting and talent acquisition in a similar internal role, working directly for an EPCM or Engineering organisation within the Construction, Oil & Gas or Energy sectors. Experience gained within an external recruitment agency environment along with qualifications in Business, Human Resources (or a related discipline), while not essential, would be advantageous.

In addition, you will also have:

  • Professional presentation with exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, including facilitating interviews and stakeholder meetings
  • Proven experience consulting with hiring managers and leveraging recruitment expertise to influence hiring decisions
  • Demonstrated capability across the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, qualifying, networking, interviewing, assessing, offer negotiation and candidate management
  • Proficiency in utilising an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and LinkedIn Recruiter for sourcing, tracking and managing candidates, together with the Microsoft Office suite
  • The ability to perform effectively under pressure whilst delivering outcomes within a challenging and complex project environment
  • Well-developed stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills to build credibility with candidates, hiring managers and project leaders alike
  • A solutions mindset with the ability to manage changing priorities and multiple competing demands

Desirable

What will set you apart will be your blend of relevant experience recruiting site based technical professionals for major onshore oil and gas, refinery, petrochemical or energy projects, coupled with an established network of relevant talent across Thailand. In addition, your ability to balance proactive talent search and reactive project hiring simultaneously, will enable you to contribute to the successful delivery of this large scale EPCM project.
