  • Coordinate with local Finance teams, external tax advisors, and auditors to ensure timely and accurate tax filings, tax positions, computations, and statutory tax disclosures.
  • Oversee quarterly and annual tax provisions, including current and deferred tax calculations, and ensure accurate tax reporting for management and statutory purposes.
  • Establish and maintain consistent tax processes, controls, documentation, and governance in line with local regulations and Group policies.

2. Transfer Pricing & International Tax

  • Monitor international tax developments, assess their impact on the Group, and identify opportunities to optimize the Group’s tax position while maintaining compliance and appropriate risk management.

3. Tax Controversy, Audits & Risk Management

  • Lead and coordinate tax audits, investigations, enquiries, disputes, and other tax authority engagements across Thailand and relevant regional jurisdictions.
  • Prepare and review responses to tax authority queries and audit requests, develop audit defense strategies, and manage tax controversy matters through to resolution.
  • Coordinate with external advisors, auditors, tax authorities, and internal stakeholders on complex or high-risk tax matters, maintaining effective professional relationships.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate tax risks across the Group while strengthening tax governance, controls, documentation, and regional risk management frameworks.

4. Business Tax Advisory & Commercial Support

  • Provide timely, practical, and commercially focused tax advice to Finance, Operations, Product, Legal, and other business teams.
  • Advise on the tax implications of new products, payment flows, commercial arrangements, market entry, and business expansion.
  • Support cross-border transactions and initiatives, including structuring, licensing, intercompany arrangements, and regional operating models.
  • Partner with stakeholders to assess tax implications early, providing practical recommendations that balance technical tax requirements with commercial objectives and operational needs.

5. Tax Governance & Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Finance, business stakeholders, and senior management across the region.
  • Manage external tax advisors and professional firms to ensure high-quality, consistent, and cost-effective tax support.
  • Establish and maintain regional tax policies, procedures, controls, and documentation standards in line with Group requirements.
  • Act as a key tax point of contact for regional and global stakeholders, promoting tax awareness and supporting business teams in managing tax implications effectively.

Requirements

  • Professional qualification such as CPA, CA, ACCA, CIMA, or a recognized tax qualification is preferred.
  • 6–10+ years of relevant tax experience, ideally combining Big 4/professional services and in-house corporate tax experience.
  • Proven experience across corporate income tax, indirect tax, withholding tax, transfer pricing, tax reporting, and tax controversy, including hands-on management of tax audits, enquiries, disputes, and external advisors.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex tax matters into practical recommendations and manage multiple priorities across jurisdictions.
