Ameritas Life Insurance Corp is looking for a Talent Development Intern to help the business by facilitating internal engagement and associate development activities. This is a hybrid role working partially in-office and partially from home starting in May 2027.

What you do:
- Support the Talent Development team regarding various parts of associate engagement, communication, learning & development, and enterprise change management.
- Serve as a Gallup Strengths ambassador and help promote a culture of strengths within the organization.
- Assist in planning and implementation of associate/company engagement and achievement recognition events at Ameritas.
- Support the Talent Development team with learning and development functions such as learning management system administration, assist with tasks related to training activity and preparing learning metrics.
- Collaborate with the team to facilitate the annual engagement survey. Create branding and year-long promotion of the survey. Create education and tools to support managers and all associates about engagement.
- Support enterprise committees through alignment, creating communication, promotion, budgets to support committee activity.
- Create internal human resource communication to be put in newsletters, the intranet, and other communication vehicles.
What you bring:
- A minimum of 1 year college completed.
- Able to commit to a 1-year internship and work part-time during the school year (16-20 hours/week) and full-time in the summer (30-40 hours/week).
- Enrolled in a college/university program to obtain a degree in communications, human resources, public relations, business, or related area
- Gallup Strengths coaching experience preferred.
- Superior time management, project planning, situational adaptability, and communication skills.
- The ideal candidate will have professional office technology skills with an interest in learning new software applications for eLearning development and analytics.
- Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of products with advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred.
- Understanding of the Ameritas’ mission, vision, core values, philosophy, and brand, in addition to industry trends.
