Preschool Teacher

Big Curiosity. Growing Independence. So Much to Discover.

Three is such a fun age to teach.

Their personalities are blooming, their imaginations are taking off, and suddenly they want to know why about absolutely everything. They’re learning to make friends, express their ideas, do more on their own, and discover just how much they’re capable of.

Kamaʻāina Kids is looking for an experienced Preschool Teacher to lead a classroom of 3-year-olds in our Moanalua Preschool.

If you love turning everyday moments into opportunities to learn, creating a classroom kids can’t wait to come back to, and watching confidence grow right alongside new skills, we’d love to meet you.

Moanalua Preschool, $22-25/hr

$500 New Hire Bonus • Full-Time & Sub Opportunities

Make Learning Feel Like Play

At three, just about everything can become a learning experience.

A story can spark an entire imaginary world. A walk outside can turn into a science lesson. Blocks become cities, paint becomes an experiment, and a simple question can lead somewhere completely unexpected.

As their teacher, you’ll get to follow that curiosity and help it grow.

You’ll:

  • Create a warm, engaging classroom where children feel safe, confident, and excited to learn
  • Plan hands-on activities built around the interests and developmental needs of your class
  • Bring learning to life through art, music, stories, movement, sensory experiences, and outdoor play
  • Help children strengthen language, early learning, motor, and problem-solving skills
  • Encourage independence and give children opportunities to try, explore, and figure things out
  • Help children build friendships, communicate their needs, and navigate the social side of preschool
  • Get to know each child and celebrate the progress that makes them uniquely them
  • Build positive relationships with families and keep them connected to their child’s growth

You’ll have plenty to teach them—and you might be surprised by how much they teach you, too.
