What You'll Do

As a Software Tester, you'll play a key role in ensuring software reliability, performance, and user satisfaction by:

• Developing and executing test plans for new and existing features
• Creating detailed test cases and test documentation based on user stories and requirements
• Performing regression, integration, and performance testing across end-to-end workflows
• Designing and executing automated test scripts
• Investigating software incidents and supporting troubleshooting efforts
• Collecting, analyzing, and documenting logs and test results
• Collaborating closely with developers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to drive quality improvements

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• 1+ year of experience in software testing, software engineering, systems engineering, or related technical roles
• Experience working in Linux/Unix environments
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

Preferred Technical Skills

• Android and Linux troubleshooting experience
• Experience creating and executing test cases for complex software applications
• Knowledge of:
  • Python
  • PHP
  • MySQL
  • Behave
  • C++
• Experience with regression, integration, and automation testing

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Irvine, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
