Assistant Leasing Manager

Strong written and oral communication skills, professional demeanor, and the ability to work effectively with a diverse team. Proficiency with Yardi or similar property management software/CRM systems preferred. Ability to prioritize competing responsibilities, maintain confidentiality, and provide dependable support to the Community Manager and leasing team. Mon-Fri 8:30am -5pm and some Saturdays 8am-5pm

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Assistant Leasing Managers are an essential part of the community team, providing support to our Leasing Managers and Leasing Professionals. They lead by example; they are skilled in leasing, customer service focused, and results oriented.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:

• Encourage and build positive relationships with all team members, customers, and vendors
• Manage leasing process from first point of contact to move-in
• Inspect apartments and the community to ensure product quality
• Assist the Leasing Manager with all aspects of community marketing and advertising
• Utilize sales and marketing strategies to increase property traffic, maintain closing ratios and achieve budgeted occupancy
• Assist the Leasing Manager with training and coaching the leasing team
• Stay abreast of industry trends
• Deliver exceptional customer service
• Contribute to community and company engagement efforts
• Perform other duties as assigned by managers/supervisors

• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to project an outgoing personality
• Ability to maintain flexibility in a fast-paced environment

• Knowledge of current applicable laws
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Proficiency utilizing the internet for marketing, advertising, and sales-related purposes

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• One year of experience in property management or similar experience in high volume sales, marketing and or real estate environment.
• Experience with Yardi software products preferred

Pay Rate:

$37, 478 - $50,795
