Warehouse & Production Specialist

The Warehouse & Production Specialist is a hands-on position responsible for supporting the day-to-day warehouse and production operations of Bogati Urn Company. This position will have primary responsibility for engraving services, while also performing a variety of warehouse functions including receiving, inventory, picking, packing, shipping, quality control, and general warehouse support. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, organized, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and capable of moving between different responsibilities as business needs require.

What You Will Do:

Engraving & Production

• Operate Bogati's engraving equipment safely and efficiently.
• Engrave urns, jewelry, plaques, keepsakes, and other products according to customer specifications.
• Carefully review engraving instructions, artwork, names, dates, fonts, layouts, and other order details before production.
• Verify engraved products for accuracy, positioning, appearance, and overall quality.
• Make appropriate adjustments to engraving settings based on product material and requirements.
• Prepare products for engraving, including cleaning, positioning, masking, fixturing, and other required preparation.
• Perform quality control inspections before engraved products are packaged or shipped.
• Maintain engraving equipment, work areas, tools, and supplies in clean and organized condition.
• Report equipment problems, defects, inconsistencies, or production issues promptly.
• Maintain appropriate inventory of engraving materials and supplies.
• Assist with developing and improving engraving processes and procedures.
• Cross-train other employees on engraving procedures when requested.

Warehouse Operations

• Receive, unload, inspect, and properly store incoming merchandise.
• Pick and stage products accurately according to customer orders.
• Pack orders according to Bogati's established packing and shipping procedures.
• Prepare products for shipment and assist with shipping activities.
• Assist with inventory counts and inventory accuracy.
• Properly label, organize, and store merchandise.
• Assist with returns, exchanges, damaged products, and product inspections.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized warehouse and production areas.
• Assist with moving products and materials throughout the facility.
• Support receiving, replenishment, stocking, and other warehouse activities as assigned.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and follow all applicable safety procedures.
• Assist other warehouse team members when workload or business needs require.

Quality Control

• Inspect products for defects, damage, incorrect specifications, or other quality concerns.
• Ensure products meet Bogati's quality standards before being shipped to customers.
• Immediately report recurring quality issues or vendor-related product defects.
• Help identify process improvements that reduce errors, rework, returns, and customer complaints.
• Understand that quality and accuracy take priority over speed.

What We Require:

• Previous warehouse, production, manufacturing, fulfillment, or engraving experience preferred.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Experience operating machinery or production equipment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to learn engraving software and equipment.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision after training.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Have an active and valid drivers license.
