CDL Driver / Housing Technician

We are looking for a dependable, skilled Housing Technician / CDL Driver to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and preparing company housing and facilities.The ideal candidate is a hands-on individual with experience in plumbing, electrical work, general maintenance, and troubleshooting, who is also comfortable operating commercial vehicles and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on company housing and facilities.
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing systems, including water lines, fixtures, toilets, pumps, and related equipment.
- Perform basic to intermediate electrical repairs, including outlets, switches, breakers, lighting, appliances, and troubleshooting electrical issues.
- Repair and maintain HVAC systems and other residential equipment when needed.
- Perform carpentry, drywall, flooring, appliance, and other general housing repairs.
- Inspect housing units and identify maintenance issues before they become larger problems.
- Prepare and stock housing units for employees and field operations.
- Assist with moving, setting up, and relocating housing units, trailers, equipment, and supplies.
- Operate CDL-required vehicles for deliveries, pickups, hauling, and other company transportation needs.
- Properly secure loads and inspect vehicles and trailers before transportation.
- Maintain accurate records of completed maintenance and repairs.
- Respond to maintenance issues at different job locations as needed.
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, equipment, and work areas.
- Follow all company safety policies and applicable DOT regulations.
- Work independently while also coordinating with other members of the maintenance and operations teams.
 
Qualifications
- Valid CDL with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in residential, commercial, industrial, or field maintenance preferred.
- Working knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems.
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to use common hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to read basic wiring diagrams and troubleshoot mechanical/electrical problems.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple maintenance requests.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Dependable, safety-minded, and willing to work in changing field conditions.
- Ability to lift, carry, climb, bend, and perform physical maintenance tasks.
- Willingness to travel between job sites and work occasional extended hours when necessary.

- CDL transportation and hauling
