Quanex is looking for a Machine Operator - 1st Shift to join our team in Luck, Wisconsin.

Salary: $17.63 to $26.45 per hour, depending on experience.
- Potential for pay increase up to $1 if meeting or exceeding expectations at 90 day performance review.
- The level for each Machine Operator is determined by management based on the ability to train others and number of machines the operator can run while meeting production standards and quality requirements.
Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 5:00 am - 3:30 pm. Overtime potential on Fridays.

What Success Looks Like:
- Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Feed lumber into the machine and ensure proper alignment and positioning.
- Make basic machine adjustments to maintain consistent production and quality.
- Monitor product to ensure quality standards are being met.
- Keeps the work area in a neat and orderly condition.
- Accurately, thoroughly, and legibly completes production documentation.
- Assists in other work areas when the workload permits or requires.
What You Bring:
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring instruments.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- At least 6 months of production, assembly, or related work experience preferred.
- Manual finger dexterity skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Displays a positive attitude and a strong desire to learn and grow.
