Job Summary

Location: 445 Atlanta South Parkway, Suite 150, Atlanta, GA 30349

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm

Duties & Responsibilities

This position is responsible for maintaining all fleet vehicles and coordinating the covert vehicles to meet covert audit schedule.

  • Oversee the maintenance of all GA Clean Air Force fleet vehicles.
  • Ensure performance of covert vehicle, including the set up and testing failures of covert audit vehicles.
  • Assist Customer Service staff in evaluation of repair receipts to determine if pricing is reasonable and if work notated is emission related.
  • Visually inspect vehicles presented for repair waivers to determine whether the repair work has been performed.
  • Serves as liaison to Georgia’s Clean Air Force public information staff for repair tech outreach.
  • Work with management on motorist vehicles that have problems with emissions.
  • Research motorist vehicles that have failed test multiple years and are requesting another repair waiver to determine possible solutions and/or repairs to the vehicle.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of the Opus HQ garage.
  • Assist and provide support to auditors on both vehicle and visual audits.
  • Assist the Overt and Covert managers on any fleet vehicle issues that may occur through the course of the business day.
  • Provide support to the Assistant Repair Technician by answering questions as needed.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • A.S.E. Certified; or ability to obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Minimum 2 years Automotive Service work experience

Qualifications

  • Proficient in vehicle diagnosis and repair.
  • Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to make decisions in a fast paced environment.
  • Knowledge of general office systems (i.e. PC), procedures and methods.
  • Strong organizational skills.
