Asset Protection Security Team Member

Join our Joplin Distribution Center team and play a critical role in keeping our people, products, and operations safe. As an Asset Protection Team Member, you'll help safeguard one of the most important facilities in our supply chain by promoting a secure work environment, protecting inventory, and supporting loss prevention efforts. Key Responsibilities:

• Be the first line of defense for facility security by monitoring guard shack operations, controlling truck lot access, conducting facility patrols, and helping maintain a safe, secure environment for team members, visitors, and drivers.
• Champion workplace safety by identifying potential hazards, conducting safety inspections, supporting compliance efforts, and helping create a culture where safety comes first.
• Partner with the Asset Protection Specialist to investigate incidents involving theft, loss, damage, or policy violations, while helping implement measures that reduce risk and protect company assets.
• Support inventory accuracy through audits, monitoring inventory controls, and collaborating with Inventory Specialists to help prevent loss and ensure operational excellence.
• Maintain accurate records of security incidents, investigations, safety observations, and asset protection activities.
• Respond proactively to potential issues and help identify opportunities to strengthen security, safety, and loss prevention processes.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 3pm - 11:30pm

Compensation: Starting pay range:‏‏‎ ‎$15.75 - $20.50.‏‏‎ ‎ Actual pay may vary based on Casey’s assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, and qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include local prevailing wages and internal equity. Our full salary range for this role does extend beyond the hiring range listed, allowing team members the opportunity to continue to grow within the company.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Knowledge of public safety and security strategies to promote effective, secure operations.
• Knowledge and ability to follow security policies, procedures, and regulations
• Knowledge of and familiarity with problems that arise in safeguarding building and grounds and the procedures used in dealing with them.
• Will be required to attend and complete ongoing de-escalation and intervention training to maintain skill and remain current on compliance matters relating to the field.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and have the physical ability to drive a vehicle for job related travel.

Preferred:

• Experience in asset protection, security, or a related field.
• Experience in a similar role with a logistics or warehouse environment.
