Job Summary:
The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production and facility equipment in a food manufacturing environment. This role ensures equipment reliability, minimizes downtime, and supports compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Hours: First shift 6:30am-3pm with OT available (every other Saturday 6am-12pm)

Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on food processing and packaging equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems including conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pumps, valves, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems
- Diagnose equipment issues and implement timely, effective solutions to reduce downtime
- Conduct equipment inspections and document maintenance activities in CMMS or maintenance logs
- Disassemble, repair, and reassemble machinery and components as required
- Support installation, commissioning, and relocation of new or upgraded equipment
- Work closely with production and quality teams to ensure optimal equipment performance
- Maintain compliance with food safety standards (GMP, HACCP) and regulatory requirements
- Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO), safety procedures, and sanitation protocols
- Assist with root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
