Scene Shop Foreman - Theatre Arts

Salary/Position Classification

• 16.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
• 15 hours per week
• 100% Remote Work Availability: No
• Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Supervise build crew during construction, load-in, and strike
• Assist in translating scenic designs and ground plans into buildable sets
• Enforce shop safety and proper tool use
• Maintain shop organization and tool inventory
• Manage build schedules to meet tech and opening deadlines

Minimum Requirements

• Building Experience
• Knowledge about power tool usage
• Woodworking skills
• Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
