Description & Requirements

The Data Program/Project/Portolio Manager (Data PPPM) is a key member of the Enterprise Data and Analytics team and will be focused on managing data-related projects, including the execution of the Firm Data Strategy, a key initiative of the firm. The Firm Data Strategy is focused on evolving the data of the Firm into a true strategic asset and the enterprise core is the engine that is driving the harmonization of data from disparate sources into a true integrated enterprise view. The Data PM is responsible managing all the projects within EDS with a primary focus related the implementation of the enterprise core Databricks platform, including managing the interdependencies between projects.

What You Will Do:

  • Manages the overall execution and management of the portfolio of data-centric projects, ensuring alignment to business priorities, timelines, dependencies, and expected outcomes
  • Serves as the primary liaison to the service lines and internal customer relationships for new and on-going data-centric projects
  • Partners with internal FTS groups, including ePMO, Product Line Managers, and Portfolio Management, to coordinate priorities, resolve dependencies, and drive cross-functional execution
  • Oversees the data request intake and estimation process ensuring requests are appropriately evaluated, prioritized, scoped, and communicated to stakeholders
  • Manages the scope definition and requirement gathering facilitating alignment between business needs, technical feasibility, and project delivery expectations
  • Owns resource planning and capacity management across assigned projects, partnering with leaders to support effective prioritization and allocation of team resources
  • Owns portfolio status reporting and management communications, providing clear visibility to progress, risks, issues, decisions, and leadership-level updates
  • Contributes as a key member of the Data Center of Excellence, helping advance project management standards, and data delivery effectiveness
  • Participating in Data Governance Steering Committee and Data Advisory Council Meetings as required

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 7+ years experience in overall program/project management of modern enterprise data and analytics platforms, including working directly with internal functional groups to understand and harmonize a portfolio of projects
  • Experience in resource planning for centralized data teams
  • Experience in managing a data request intake process for enterprise data platforms
  • Experience in resource management
  • Experience in risk / issue tracking
  • Follow and contribute to Forvis Mazars’ program and project management competency.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field
