Description

About Us
Gravity Global is the world’s most awarded marketing consultancy specialising in brands operating in complex markets. Led by strategy, innovation, technology, data and creativity, we create brand-and-demand marketing programmes that drive transformational growth for our clients.

With 14 wholly owned offices across the US, Europe, and APAC, you can develop a truly global career in a rapidly scaling organisation.

We are looking for a Data Analyst to join the Media Analytics team in Vietnam. Working under the guidance of the Senior Data Analyst, you will support day-to-day data analysis, reporting and insight delivery across multi-channel marketing activity.

The role combines practical analytical delivery with a strong focus on AI and automation. You will help improve how data is collected, transformed, modelled, visualised and communicated, using automation and approved AI-enabled tools to make recurring workflows more efficient, consistent and scalable.

You will work with data from platforms including GA4, BigQuery and Google Marketing Platform, alongside campaign, media and other business data sources. You will turn data into clear findings, forecasts and recommendations that help internal teams and clients understand performance and identify opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, combine, clean and validate data from digital marketing, media, web analytics, CRM and other relevant sources.
  • Use Python, SQL, BigQuery, Excel and appropriate analytical tools to interrogate datasets, identify trends, investigate variances and draw out meaningful insights.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of reliable data models, reporting datasets, metric definitions and documentation under the direction of the Senior Data Analyst.
  • Build, maintain and improve recurring reports, dashboards and visualisations for campaign and business performance, using tools such as Tableau, Looker Studio and Power BI.
  • Provide accurate data and analysis for monthly reporting, quarterly reviews, campaign read-outs and ad hoc business questions.
  • Contribute to forecasting, trend analysis, scenario analysis, statistical analysis and data modelling to support planning and performance decisions.
  • Carry out quality checks on data, calculations, dashboards and reporting outputs, escalating material issues or gaps to the Senior Data Analyst.
  • Support the definition and monitoring of campaign metrics and KPIs, ensuring that reporting is relevant, consistent and aligned to objectives.
  • Help integrate client and campaign data where required, following agreed data, security, privacy and governance requirements.
  • Identify repetitive, manual or error-prone analytical tasks and help automate them using appropriate workflows, scripts, APIs, platform functionality and AI-enabled tools.
  • Use approved AI tools to support activities such as data exploration, query development, documentation, summarisation and workflow improvement, applying human review and maintaining data confidentiality.
  • Test, document and monitor automated processes so that outputs remain accurate, explainable and fit for purpose.
  • Keep up to date with developments in AI, analytics, automation, digital measurement and marketing technology, sharing relevant opportunities with the team.
  • Work collaboratively with the Senior Data Analyst and global delivery teams to meet deadlines and present findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

  • Intermediate English language skills, with the ability to understand written instructions and communicate routine updates with colleagues.
  • Experience in a data analyst, marketing analyst, performance analyst or similar analytical role.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to investigate datasets, identify patterns and translate findings into practical conclusions.
  • Working knowledge of Python, SQL and experience working with a cloud data warehouse, preferably BigQuery.
  • Experience with data preparation, data modelling, forecasting or statistical analysis.
  • Experience creating reports or dashboards in a data visualisation platform; Tableau experience would be particularly useful. Looker Studio and Power BI experience are also valuable.
  • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS and basic statistical functions.
  • Familiarity with GA4, Google Marketing Platform, Google Tag Manager, campaign data or other digital marketing data sources.
  • Interest in using AI and automation to improve data analysis, reporting and operational workflows.
  • Experience with R, JavaScript, APIs or workflow automation tools is desirable, but not essential.
  • Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to checking data quality and accuracy.
  • Ability to explain analytical findings clearly in writing, visually and verbally.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, work to deadlines and ask clear questions when requirements or data are incomplete.
  • A curious, practical mindset and a willingness to learn new systems, platforms and analytical techniques.
  • Demonstrated hands-on proficiency in using AI tools and agentic workflows—including MCP integrations, AI Agents, and reusable Agent Skills—to improve processes, automate repetitive tasks, and deliver reliable, human-reviewed outcomes.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a digital marketing, media, advertising or agency environment.
  • Experience working with paid media, paid search, social, programmatic, ecommerce, attribution or web analytics data.
  • Experience developing automated reporting or data pipelines.
  • Experience using APIs to extract or connect data.
  • Familiarity with data governance, privacy, responsible AI or information security principles.
  • Experience presenting insights to internal stakeholders or supporting client-facing reporting.

This is an individual contributor role focused on high-quality analysis, reporting, data preparation, modelling, forecasting and workflow improvement. The role does not carry responsibility for team leadership, formal mentoring, architectural ownership or setting analytics standards; these responsibilities sit with the Senior Data Analyst and wider analytics leadership team.
