Purpose of the role
The focus of this role is to deliver and contribute to the growth of our Business Applications group by helping organizations adopt Microsoft Power Platform at an SME level with a focus on Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents and Dynamics 365. Working within a highly progressive and collaborative team consisting of technical and commercial colleagues to deliver services and projects for our clients.
The role will include both internal and external power platform work to mature ourselves into a digitally mature organisation as well as create lasting impact and business value for our clients. The role will work directly with the Director of Data Analytics and Digital Engineering to scope work and deliver true lasting change.
We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic solution architect at any level who is excited by digital transformation and keen to take an active part in the growth of the company.
Primary Duties:
Work with business and technical stakeholders to lead future product direction and technology capability. Design and deliver end-to-end technical solutions using Power Platform and Dynamics 365. Communicate with Business Analysts to understand business requirements and challenges. Working as part of consultancy projects within high-performing, collaborative teams. Learn and utilize exciting new technologies and how they integrate with the Microsoft Power Platform

Responsibilities

• Drive innovation and collaboration with the newest advancements and features within Power Platform and Dynamics 365. Guiding customers in the end-to-end project lifecycle and ensuring the success of key projects.
• Defining or assisting the team with best practice Integration approach for data from different data sources.
• Creating high-level solution design diagrams for customers and the delivery team including presenting these designs back to customers.

Typical projects and services Include:

• Designing and developing automated and digital processes using power platform
• Solve business process challenges through the use of cloud solutions
• Design and implement new digital pipelines to enable the unification of multiple data sources and build business logic to enable reporting across an organisation
• Performing maturity assessments across our clients’ digital capability, providing guidance on how to better utilise and leverage technology, using your experience and industry best-practices to form recommendations
• Appling advanced Power Platform techniques to solve complex business challenges and answer questions such as how a client could generate more revenue or how they could increase customer satisfaction

Requirements

We do not expect you to be an expert in all areas and we understand that experiences vary based on the background and years of experience

• Be inquisitive about how technology can be used to solve business problems and better understand the world around us
• Expertise in process design and solution architecture
• Experience in working across all of MS Power Platform
• Experience creating ETL pipelines in tools such as SQL
• Knowledge of optimal design of digital processes and models to enable end-to-end reporting
• Strong interpersonal skills and able to develop great relationships with stakeholders
• Comfortable capturing business requirements and understanding their value
• A desire to use technology to drive transformation in our clients, whether that be improving operational performance, reducing risk, growing their customer base or improving service levels
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to develop clear requirements and specifications and communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical colleagues
